About GLSI Founded in October of 2009, GLSI was born originally to serve the demand for good quality finance and operational support services for small and medium size government contractors. Mr Gregory Llinas, founded GLSI after being the Chief Financial Officer of many successful government contractors in the greater Washington DC area. Some of the firms at which Mr. Llinas was CFO experienced high growth rates for which Mr. Llinas was an integral part of the basis of their successful structure. As well as his experience as a CFO, several of GLSI's first clients have now experienced double digit growths and have been successfully merged or sold to other companies, providing the desired experience not only to owners but to employees as well. Other clients have engaged GLSI's expertise to improve their operational costs and their business operations, as well as impacts with their customers. In late 2011, some government agencies seeing GLSI's expertise at a conference, approached GLSI directly for its services. Since that time, GLSI has started to structure its consulting operations to include Federal Government services. In Spring 2014 these services were also expanded to include State and local governments by receiving its first certification by the State of Virginia as a SWaM certified business. GLSI is a Self-Certified Small Disadvantage minority owned business with the SBA for Federal procurement Contracts.
