Advanced Engineer - Cyber Management Office Representative - Hunstville, AL
 Responsibilities include: Safeguarding information systems and platform information technology (IS/PITs) in compliance with cybersecurity policies through improved cybersecurity integration into the system architecture, system life cycles and accreditation documentation Perform Information Assurance Workforce Systems Architecture and Engineering (IASAE) for the operational weapons system and non-mission (admin and RDT&E) information systems Monitor, oversee, and provide cybersecurity measure recommendations to the CMO of the design, development, implementation and integration of DoD information assurance architecture, system, and/or its components for use within the computer, network, and/or enclave integrated environments Provide cybersecurity measure recommendations to include multilevel security and cross domain solutions Analyze and provide cybersecurity measure assurances to the CMO that the integrations of the ISs/PITs architectures and designs are functional and secure Design programs of record systems and special purpose environments with platform IT interconnectivity, as well as systems or network designs to encompass multiple computer, network and/or enclave environments, meeting those with differing data protection/classification requirements Applying technology expertise, analyze security implications of systems and applications security, as well as recommendations to decision makers and engineers Lead and direct team members or work independently within the CMO Provide advice and assistance to facilitate cybersecurity efforts Act as a liaison within the CIO and program management offices. The ideal candidate must currently have the following certifications requirements by approved DoD approved 8140 Baseline Training Classes that can be verified: IAM-II Certification CISSP, GSLC or CISM IASAE Certification - ISSEP, ISSAP Requirements and basic qualifications: Knowledgeable with Federal, DoD and MDA compliance policies and regulations 20+ years of experience with IT and IA 15+ years of IASAE experience Experience with the DoD certification and accreditation process Minimum of Active Top-Secret Clearance, Secret Clearance minimum Preferred additional qualifications: 3+ years of developing and presenting technical information and presentations to non-technical audiences and clients both orally and in writing TS/SCI clearance BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Information Systems, MIS or a related field Desired skills: Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audience in both written and verbal languages Leadership qualities and experience Proactive attitude towards tasks and situations Ability to work in a team and independently Salary: Based on Experience and Qualifications Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance for employee, spouse and dependents 401(k) plan with company matching 10 Federal Holidays 120 hours (3 weeks) combined PTO/Sick leave Group Term Life, Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurances Other benefits available ** Relocation Assistance Available** Due to the delicate nature of this position, all applicants must be able to provide proof of the required certifications by approved DoD baseline training classes.
