Mid-level Cybersecurity Engineer

Responsibilities include: Provide subject matter expertise in the provisions of Information Assurance (IA) support for Certification and Accreditation (C&A), Authorization and Accreditation (A&A), and DIACAP or RMF accreditation packages, artifact generation, requirements analysis, Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) plans and execution, risk assessments, systems analysis and hardening, incident response and policy analysis, trusted product evaluations, IA program assessments, and security posture presentations Provide analytical support for the development and submission of C&A documentation in compliance with the DIACAP or RMF framework Apply knowledge of technology, analyze the security implications of systems and applications security, and provide recommendations to decision-makers and engineers Work with team members to provide advice and assistance to facilitate C&A and A&A efforts The ideal candidate must currently have the following certifications requirements by approved DoD approved 8140 Baseline Training Classes that can be verified: CAP or CASP (IAM Level II Certification) Basic Qualifications: 10+ years of experience with a combination of IT and IA Knowledge of IA policies, including DIACAP, NIST, RMF and FISMA HS Diploma or GED Active Secret Clearance Preferred additional qualifications: Experience with IA task leadership Experience with MDA systems BA or BS degree in related field Active TS/SCI clearance Desired skills: Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audience in both written and verbal languages Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficient in MS office suite Leadership qualities and experience Proactive attitude towards tasks and situations Ability to work in a team Salary: Based on Experience and Qualifications Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance for employee, spouse and dependents 401(k) plan with company matching 10 Federal Holidays 120 hours (3 weeks) combined PTO/Sick leave Group Term Life, Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurances Other benefits available ** Relocation Assistance Available** Due to the delicate nature of this position, all applicants must be able to provide proof of the required certifications by approved DoD baseline training classes.
