Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Hunstville, AL
 Responsibilities include: Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in the provisions of Information Assurance (IA) support for Certification and Accreditation (C&A), Authorization and Accreditation (A&A), and DIACAP or RMF accreditation packages, artifact generation, requirements analysis, Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) plans and execution, risk assessments, systems analysis and hardening, incident response and policy analysis, trusted product evaluations, IA program assessments, and security posture presentations Provide analytical support for the development and submission of C&A documentation in compliance with the DIACAP or RMF framework Apply technology expertise to analyze the security implications of systems and applications security, and provide recommendations to decision-makers and engineers Lead and direct team members to provide advice and assistance to facilitate C&A efforts Act as liaison within the program management office The ideal candidate must currently have the following certifications requirements by approved DoD approved 8140 Baseline Training Classes that can be verified: IAM-III Certification CISSP, GSLC, or CISM Basic Qualifications: 15+ years of experience with both IT and IA 10+ years of experience with IA security policy Experience with the DoD certification and accreditation process HS Diploma or GED Active Secret Clearance Preferred additional qualifications: 3+ years experience developing and presenting technical information to technical and non-technical audiences BA or BS degree in CS, CIS, MIS or related field MA or MS degree a plus Active TS/SCI clearance Desired skills: Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audience in both written and verbal languages • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Proficient in MS office suite • Leadership qualities and experience • Proactive attitude towards tasks and situations • Ability to work in a team Salary: Based on Experience and Qualifications Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance for employee, spouse and dependents 401(k) plan with company matching 10 Federal Holidays 120 hours (3 weeks) combined PTO/Sick leave Group Term Life, Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurances Other benefits available ** Relocation Assistance Available** Due to the delicate nature of this position, all applicants must be able to provide proof of the required certifications by approved DoD baseline training classes.
